Joseph trained as a Planner at the University of New England changing from full time to external studies after two (2) years when he relocated to Sydney and worked for the next four (4) years within the combined urban planning consultancies. During his time in Sydney he gained valuable experience on a variety of urban planning and development projects, varying from individual dwelling development applications to residential flat buildings and large mixed-use development applications in urban renewal areas to the preparation of a number of industrial Environmental Impact Statements.
