A first in the region, “The Lakes Estate” is a carefully planned residential development of freehold land of approximately 380 lots, a 100 lot Retirement village and an “Aged Care Facility”. The project incorporates a unique blend of lush bushland surrounds, and established parkland - all built around a series of picturesque lakes.  The Lakes Estate is located 3km south of the Coffs Harbour CBD in the North Boambee Valley.

RDM engineers undertook the internal design, documentation and specification of the civil works to enable a construction certificate to be approved and issued by the Coffs Harbour Council. This work included the Bulk Earthworks, Roads, Sewer Reticulation Systems, Stormwater Systems, Potable and Fire Fighting Water Supply Systems, and Erosion and Sedimentation controls. RDM also generated Bills of Quantities for these works and coordinated Telstra and Country Energy’s inputs into the project.
