Each local council is required to produce a Bushfire Risk Management Plan under the Rural Fires Act 1997. The plan is to include a bushfire hazard map identifying areas as bushfire prone land. Bushfire prone land is required to be assessed in accordance with the guidelines detailed in the Rural Fire Services legislated document “Planning for Bushfire Protection – 2006”. RDM has produced numerous Bushfire Risk Assessment for various types of developments including, Coffs Harbour Health Campus, Coffs Harbour Education Campus, Residential and Rural Residential Developments, Tourist Facilities and Seniors Living Developments.
