RDM have undertaken surveys for a number of Electricity Transmission Lines  projects throughout NSW including Moree to Inverell, Queensland ~ NSW Interconnector , Kempsey to Coffs Harbour, Coffs Harbour to Koolkhan and Wollar to Wellington projects.  The tasks have ranged from providing profile and set out surveys, easement and subdivision surveys, detailed ground surveys and the location of archaeological sites along the routes. The surveys have been undertaken utilising a range of survey equipment, including GPS, electronic total stations and the like.

The company has developed its own project specific data input sequence for use with its electronic total stations to enable accurate and efficient download of field information and production of longitudinal profiles with the minimum of fuss.  The company’s experience and expertise in such surveys is well regarded for its timeliness, thoroughness and accuracy.

RDM utilised its GPS capacity and stringent quality assurance measures to accurately construct a control network capable of high order measurements and suitability for further GPS and Total Station work. These projects are streamlined by RDM’s experience in large scale work in remote and rural settings  and incorporation of operation planning systems to improve field work efficiencies.
