Prior to joining RDM as Office Manager, Donna gained experience as a goal-orientated Operations Manager with two years’ broad office management experience, assisting to maximise efficiency and achieve sustainable growth, and understands that establishing and maintaining effective recordkeeping regimes is an integral part of business and requires sustained commitment.
Donna has spent her career developing a solid background in finance, book-keeping and administration. As part of her commitment to personal development, and to strengthen and formalise her office administration skills, Donna returned to TAFE to study for a Diploma in Business Administration and an Advanced Diploma in Management, earning a distinction in both. As part of her continuing professional development she is currently studying for a Diploma in Town Planning through the University of New England.
Donna’s qualifications in office management have enhanced her ability to carry out necessary functions and her interpersonal skills have driven her success in fostering strong workplace processes and relationships.
During Donna’s extensive career in office administration, she has developed and maintained strong organisational and time management skills in order to efficiently perform her duties. Throughout her employment history, she has learnt to juggle both financial responsibilities with general administration and customer service tasks and developed an extensive working knowledge of a range of complex administrative, clerical and financial corporate data systems in various formats. This has helped to develop her organisational skills and has strengthened her ability to multitask.
Working for small and medium-sized companies, Donna is highly proficient in using MYOB software for all financial transactions up to and including BAS.
Donna’s computer skills are highly developed and throughout her career she has been required to utilise the full range of Microsoft Office software in the provision of high-quality administrative assistance. This includes the presentation of information in a variety of formats: report writing, minute taking, spreadsheets, electronic calendar management and presentations. She has a commitment to continuous improvement and is a positive and adaptable team member, supporting input and discussions regarding innovation. She also has an interest in marketing and extensive experience in social media marketing and website maintenance.
